I know it's not Tuesday, but here's a special Technology Wednesday post! A few people commented about that annoying white border that pops up with you "print" a PDF of your PowerPoint. Here's how to get rid of it!
You can download this tutorial as a PDF by clicking this picture!
Note: This tutorial is hosted on Google Docs. To save it from there, just
open the file and click File > Download to save onto your computer!
I am so glad you posted this! I was just complaining yesterday about that! Here is my suggestion for a tutorial. I made a graphic (that didn't fill the whole page) and I saved it as a png. When I use it, it puts a white box (the rest of the page) around it. How can I fix it? It drives me crazy that I don't know. Dana www.funin1stgrade.blogspot.com
I have been wanting to know this for a while now. There are just some things that "googling" doesn't cover. Thank you so much for your technology posts because they DO help out! Deb at Fabulously First My TpT Store
Thanks for the tutorial! However, the little trick doesn't seem to work for me. Whether I save my powerpoint as a pdf or print it as a pdf, the white border is still there whether I scale it or not. Not sure what to do now...:(
That's bizarre! Phrase it has to do with the page size of your PowerPoint? Maybe if you change it to 8.5x11 it will make a difference? Let me know if that works!
Thanks! That was sooo simple.
